I'd buy one absolutely. More of a disposable car. If just about anything goes wrong with a car it's hundreds to fix. If I got a year out of this $600 car it would save me a ton of money not just in gas but also in upkeep fees. If I get into a fender bender. I don't fix it. I trash it and get a new one. I don't need to fully insure. I could get liability only.
This would be a huge money saver. But I can guarantee you selling this in the states would greatly increase the price. The big auto manufacturer would imho never allow such a vehicle to sell here. It might kill their market. They consider a cheap new affordable car at about $12k.
