i dont mean to bump this thread, but this should be in MyBB 2.0.
It would be a cool feature but I doubt it'll be core. Maybe there'll be a way in the 2.0 plugin system.
htpasswd is easier to add, more secure, and more effective.
Well, it was requested so I made it.
Nice tutorial, great release.
I think using this WITH other things like renamed admin dir and protected directories is a way to go.
A lot of passwords to remember and enter, but it all comes together for a pretty large security boost.
Just a note, the PIN doesn't have to be a number. Any string will work.
