I just upgraded my forum to version 1.6.5 and I've noticed that the announcements aren't showing up. I know that they are there because I can see them in the modcp but they don't show up in the forum. I've tried the forum default (apart1) as well as the theme installed with the forum and neither is showing announcements. I know that it was functioning correctly before the update.
I didn't have any errors during the update and I upgraded from 1.6.4.
Sorry. I figured out that I can put up the accounements directly. Here is an example:
Yes that's it however it isn't showing up in the forum listing. That's a global announcement that should show up in all forums but it shows up in none of them. I have a few announcements and none of them are showing up.
please confirm that the announcements appear in all forums from ur admin panal

I've noticed that "Miscellaneous Permissions" is mostly empty.

Check your language files for the ACP problem.
Can you post an Admin CP login in the Private Inquiries forum?
