Just wondering if MyBB would be willing to do this: http://sopastrike.com/
Hmmm, interesting.
Mybb should, I will be doing this with my websites.
I doubt they will be. Shutting down a support forum for a day really doesn't sound like a good idea to me...
Vanilla is, as well as Mozilla. I'd be interested but I doubt we'll do it.
I doubt it. As euantor said, I don't think everybody would be happy with it.
I say do it....I have already sent messages to my state senators about sopa sucking the life out of the net.
I have seen tons of sites doing the blackout.

Why not change the portal page to a huge banner for the black out and a little message "if you still need help and cant wait 24 hours, click here" to go to forums ?
Maybe, hide all categories from normal users except for support. That way we can get support should we need it, but also be "Dark".

And, I say throw the banner idea in there. Everyone wins! Smile
It would be nice if MyBB.com did something.

That, IMO, would be the best way. You could make the rest of the site "dark" too (except from the tracker ofc - it's still going to be needed).
