I really like Mybb but am disappointed it doesn't come bundled with a WYSIWYG editor. None of the plugins available seem to work very well either so Mybb seems to be lacking in this regard. Would intergratiing a default WYSIWYG editor really be so hard and is one planned for the future?
If you don't think it's hard feel free to edit your install to use one.

Regarding plans for the future it is going to be in 2.0.

I was sure that one works fine.

I'm having problems with it. Dropdown boxes are always open and alignmenmt doesn't work.

Didn't we have a ton of problems when we added it?

I agree with one being built in to MyBB in the future. New users who aren't familiar with forums have no idea about BB code so it would be incredibly handy.

Sorry I didn't mean to come across so negatively. It's just that Mybb seems as good as any forum software except it doesn't have a wysiwyg editor which I believe is pretty much essential to have in modern software. When is 2.0 due for release?.
A long time from now. There will be a new editor in 1.8 however we are yet to decide on the functionality.
