Hello all,
Some (minors) bugs, in the Shoutbox 2.0 :
- Option "Edit" appears for all users : guests, members, mods and admins...
- A bug with the time of the shouts : I don't how the time is calculated
The real time was :
And in the shoutbox, there is :
- When I activate the shoutbox to the guests, the link doesn't appear in the front end. I need to add {$shoutbox_link} after {$lang->welcome_current_time} in the template !
- Maybe not a bug : When the shoutbox does the "Auto refresh", and if we are writing something, the shout is deleted !
Thanks for your work,
Le Poulpe
PS : A small quick edit. Is it possible to change the size of the pop-up ?
Possible to Iframe this shoutbox into the index page so users can shout without having to find the shoutbox?
Similar to the IPB shoutbox?
Thanks for the bug reports, I'll make sure they're all fixed before releasing the final version, although I'll have to look into the time bug a little deeper I think. I'll also add a new setting to the plugin allowing you to specify different dimensions for the popup window.
As for adding the shoutbox to the index through an iframe, there isn't currently a setting to add it to the index, however I don't mind adding instructions to the package on how to add this manually if desired.

Another suggestion/bug would be to not allow an empty field to be inserted
.
Would be great if u can include how to add the shoutbox to the index page manually,
great work btw
I've managed to impletment the shoutbox onto everypage within my forums but the only problem i have now is when someone shouts it redirects them to the shoutbox page.
Is there a way of not redirecting (refreshing) after they shout?
check
http://forums.redshadows.eu/ for an example
*edit: I sorted it, no redirect anymore, thx

Some strange "Bugs" on my Forum. Admins and SMods can't delete or edit any messages besides their own. But normal Users (which probably can't edit/delete their own messages which is imo correct)
can edit and delete Messages by Admins and SMods. I've not changed any Usergroups on my board so Group-ID 3 is still SMod an ID 4 still Admin. I looked over the code, but I couldn't see the problem.
