ACP>Board settings seems OK. This is in ACP> forum management and ACP>groups. Have not attempted Templates or Tools

I see that on plugins saves changes. But not on mybb forum management, I click save and it comes back to a blank page. I am wondering if core files can be re-installed without crashing the board?

Go to ACP -> Tools & Maintenance -> File Verification and let me know if eveything's alright.

Re-upload all files and make sure nothing's marked as "Changed"

There in lies the problem. my copy of 1.6.7 was lost. When I try to upgrade to 1.6.8 I gets an error and it halts.

Looks like you messed up everything. You either restore a database backup or do a fresh installation.

It took out the backup too. I had my host tech support check, POOF!

Nothing like climbing the mountain, reaching the top, then falling off the other side.

I still wont go back to SMF!!!

That's weird. Not sure what you did but if you know what you did, make sure you don't do it next time
