Hello
Before I continue with MyBB rather than my other forum software, I have to ask a quick question. No offense to anyone at all.

Is there enough technical support available for mybb? At least get a problem answered and fixed within a few hours? The software itself seem to have a lot of features but also appears to be quite buggy.

Thanks so muchSmile
Support here is given by unpaid volunteers. There is no guarantee that you will receive a reply that same day, it depends on who's available, but you might even get a reply within a few minutes. There are a lot of community members who are willing to help regardless of the issue. Smile

If you do notice any bugs in the software you are free to report them on our development tracker.

If you have any more questions or queries feel free to ask. Smile
Thanks Nathan,
Do you know of any company that provides paid support for Mybb?
One of our other developers, Pirata Nervo, provides paid support on his forum.

There might be other members who are willing to provide paid 1:1 support. If you wish you can make a request in the Requests/Services/Jobs forum to see if anyone is available for hire. Smile
P.S. this is not a bug but Softaculous is not installing Mybb correctly. Missing many files after multiple mybb installs. Smile

Thank you Nathan. I will contact Pirata and post for paid support

That would be an issue with Softaculous but as we have no affiliation with that company it's out of our hands. Contacting them might be a good idea but in general we advise installing MyBB manually to ensure complete success. Smile
Sounds good. I'll contact them today. Smile
As Nathan said, we are all unpaid staff and a member of the Support Team will try to answer your questions as soon as we can. Generally though, most support questions can be answered by a quick Google search or by browsing our Docs for a minute or two.
Thanks Darlin, I'm not tech inclined so support is an issue for me. Smile
Hi,

I am from the Softaculous team. I just checked our package and we are using the package available here :
http://www.mybb.com/downloads

I checked and there is no difference between the two packages. Can I get a list of missing files I will check it.
