I'm switching to Linux lately, so leaving Notepadd++ is a sadness, Gedit is not that powerful IMO. Getting used to it anyways.

For graphics I use Adobe Fireworks, can't stand GIMP either (probably will need to, soon), and Photoshop, well, I started using Fireworks first so the switch is a pain as well.
Code editor: Sublime text 2
Images/Design: Either Photoshop or Fireworks (it's better for simpler images and gradients)

Off-topic: I'll agree that MS makes a good IDE overall. To bad it's focused on windows only stuff Toungue.

Visual Studio has a ton of great extensions, including one for PHP: http://visualstudiogallery.msdn.microsof...5f50c95fb5
That's good to know but I don't need an IDE Toungue. I've only used it for classes.

Brackets is free, so no worries there, but Photoshop isn't of course.

I just got an invitation and that is the niftiest thing I have ever seen. Like period. Koding ftw!
Coding: Old Faithful Notepad++
Graphics: Paint.NET
I just got my copy of Adobe CS6. <333 Oh, how I've missed you! Using Paint and Notepad++ (as good as the latter is) was vaguely painful.
I use Photoshop, Notepad++ and Filezilla regularly. I also use Sony Vegas when I do videos, but I haven't done any for a while.
I can't believe you people pay for Adobe products...
They're the best of the best, why not pay for them?
