Yeah quite a few, hard to resist when they're cheap with free whois privacy. Good support too. Still use them to this day, wish I knew about them before I noobly bought many from GoDaddy -.-.

Yes, yes you did. The one you're referring to is http://gandi.net - they're easily the best one I've found (tried godaddy, name.com, namecheap) seeing as you get stuff like free whois privacy and a free SSL certificate.

Yup. I'd still say it's worth it for the support and the free SSL. If I'm trying to create a successful site I'm not afraid to spend a bit extra. Plus IIRC there are a few coupons out there.
