Hi all , firstly i am extremley new to all this.
Have installed mybb and it seems to have installed ok apart the admin control panel.
I have read through quite a few of the posts on this board and it seems to me that there should be some more features in the admin cp.
At the moment its saying that the forum is locked but there is no way to unlock it.
Have i missed something here?
Any help would be appreciated!
You unlock it in the AdminCP

Goto:
AdminCP -> Change -> Board Online / Offline -> *Choose No option -> Submit Changes

Now you board shold be back online!

Or is the AdminCP saying its not online!
add: admin/ to end of your address when going to forum to log into adminCP

Then try loggin in.
Thanks wildteen88
Have sorted it now , i think i had allocated the url wrong in the setup proceedure.
Redone it and viola there it is.
Thanks anyway.
Clearing your cookies should allow you to login to the admin cp again.
Depending on what browser you are using, will depend on what you have to do.
IE is something like Tools->Internet Options and FF is Tools->Clear Private Data if you have the latest FF. Make sure cookies are selected.
(it is best to delete cookies manually if you know how to do it)

If that helps you, you should be able to change the board to online.

Make sure that your inc/ folder and the inc/settings.php file is chmod'ed to 777 otherwise the settings file will not be updated and will still reflect the old "offline" setting.

I'm guessing you are using 1.04?
