I'm just wondering if anyone has come across popular general forums, regardless of the forum software. It seems to be something that pops up in our showcase section daily, but has anyone actually stumbled upon one that is highly successful and very active?

But images aren't required.
There are a lot of successful general forums, one of the many reasons most of us suggest new owners not to dive into that niche.
