Glad you like it! And no, I'm not German (I learned the word primarily from Helvetica Neue) but it was done on purpose.

Update! I have a preview of the default postbit. I'm working on the classic postbit now and it'll have the same style as this. What do you think?

Now we're talking. Truly creative and lovely on the eyes. Don't like the Like button in the top though – should be at the bottom of a post so you can click it after it's been read. I also find the postbit really tall, but ... can't win them all.

And Brad, that's a good point. I put the button at the top because it's grouped in the author buttons by default but I think I can fit it in with the buttons on the bottom. For the author bit height, I did think it was a bit tall as well. I can decrease the height a little bit, which I'll do, but with that style it doesn't give me much room.
