How much space does everyone's forums take up on their database?

Mine uses 197.22 Meg, is this right?
1,14 mb
Because it used to be 99.8M and now I've upgraded my hosting plan to have more space (used to be 100Mb and is not 200MB) and its suddenly increased by 100Mb O.o
Are you sure that's not what you have left of the space?
No, it's defiantly taken all the space on my database because I can't upload anything at all!  Like its actually increased (I upgraded my hosting plan only 20mins ago) and the forum file has also increased so my database is full again :@
The things that are taking up most space are:

Directory Space Used
public_html/forums 196.70 Meg
public_html/forums/core.17566 52.62 Meg
public_html/forums/core.32166 47.86 Meg
public_html/forums/core.32168 41.22 Meg
public_html/forums/core.24506 37.95 Meg
public_html/forums/core.32173 11.39 Meg
public_html/forums/core.3731 1.98 Meg
public_html/forums/inc 0.82 Meg
public_html/forums/install 0.67 Meg

Like there isn't anything there that I can scrap can I? Or a way for to to sort of compress the files for me to have more room, as I can't afford like a 300mb+ hosting plan
public_html/forums/install/resources 0.59 Meg
public_html/forums/core.17566 52.62 Meg
public_html/forums/core.32166 47.86 Meg
public_html/forums/core.32168 41.22 Meg
public_html/forums/core.24506 37.95 Meg
public_html/forums/core.32173 11.39 Meg
public_html/forums/core.3731 1.98 Meg

What's up with these directories? Those should not be there. They might be temp folders, if they are your host is being cheap as these should not be there. As your host about it.
so should I just delete them now? Or is it necesary to ask first?

Also I've noticed they created between the 27th -today (I created the forums on the 21st)
and there's most of those core files, but take up less space
What's in the folders?
they're just files on their own.
They have the same symbol as the PHP files (though that might be the file just because my computer doesn't recognise PHP like it should) but the file type is just "((their number)) File" Their number being core.17566 or core.32166
