I did the above and after installing it it came up with this error at the top of the admin cp:

And this error on the board:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function profilecomments22_mark_comments22_as_read() in /home/content/51/9813451/html/forum/inc/class_plugins.php on line 101

I still need help getting the plugin to work twice, plus I need help editing it so that only Super Mods, Mods and Admins can see the notes.

Can anyone help? I'm desperate to get this working .
