Hey MyBB,

I am new to MyBB and I like it, but I have some questions, can I add image before the usergroup and the username in legend/profile etc?

Can banned members see an forum where they can only see there own topics and only can open new threads?

You can do it easily, you just need to add custom forum permissions for guest.

Edit forum permission of that forum and allow banned member to make thread/post in that forum then add custom permissions.



Click on Set custom permissions and check these boxes.

I tested in on a test account, but I see the banned page.

On that forum where you added permissions?

Yes this is because a banned groups can't see anything on your forums at all. I tried something similar to what you are doing without success. I ended up using a contact form instead.

damn, didn't knew that, thanks for info mate.

Does no one knows a way, because they must apply the ban in a forum. :$

The only walk around I can see off the top of my head would be to create a new group called suspended or something similar and give them only permissions in the appeal board.
