Hello,

I've had '[email protected]' before and it worked fine with MyBB.
Now currently I switched to google business and have my own domain so that would be '[email protected]'. Google claims that the settings are still the same ( Obviously ) but yet they don't work with MyBB.
These are the settings im currently using:

This is the error I'm getting:

The SMTP server rejected the supplied SMTP password. Reason: 535-5.7.1 Username and Password not accepted. Learn more at 535 5.7.1 http://support.google.com/mail/bin/answe...swer=14257 bk1sm4755340wib.2 - gsmtp

Any clue?

Thanks !
I'm sorry to do this but any suggestions/help will be appreciated, bump.

Haha, yes ofcourse I did although I'm not sure about this;

Make sure your mail client isn't set to check for new mail too often. If your mail client checks for new messages more than once every 10 minutes, your client might repeatedly request your username and password.

Any idea's?
Also thank you for the effort here trying to help me out, I appreciate it.
Last bump, any chance? :p
Are you sure your username and password are correct?

Yes, I am 100% sure Wink
This may be a dumb question, but is the SMTP username you are using [email protected], or is this just changed for security reasons.

Haha, its for security reasons/Privacy reasons Wink
Can you send emails with that login details in your email client? I don't think this is a MyBB problem.
