Can you show an example? There shouldn't be any dead links with this move. A user goes to /showthread.php?tid=20, they're redirected to /thread/20.

Well I guess a redirect is going to have to suffice even though it's not imho the most optimal method of dealing with this.

I wish MyBB would start an official SEO team.
