I still don't understand the couple threads that come up here a day for kitchens...
Something that has not escaped our attention at all, I assure you.
I really think that this sets a bad first impression on people looking at MyBB as an option. They come here to see a demo, and find spam everywhere.
As said, well aware of the situation. I think one of the staff even made a plugin that was geared towards automatically un-approving kitchen related threads or something. I am not certain if it is currently uploaded/installed/in use though.
We also have an extremely long list of blocked IPs, which perhaps needs to be updated.

Spam is something that is present everywhere. You need to combat it. There's quite few of the great plugins to help you fight it. Plugins like stop forum spam, etc are some of the great ones to list.

Simple answer: There are pricks out there that think it's fun to make robots post on internet boards about whatever they happen to be selling. In the case of MyBB, it appears to be kitchens.
