I am trying to change color of default theme from dark blue to my own. I have tried doing it from both Edit Stylesheet: Simple Mode and Edit Stylesheet: Advanced Mode but changes in these are not showing in the page. I even tried removing themes from cache folder but it didn't help. Can anyone help me with this?

Sorry not with you, it worked for me.
Changes are stored on cache, you have to flush your cache and then you can see that changes, you have to go to your explorer and delete all cookies from your site xD. Then you can see the changes, because templates, css and styleshets by default are stored to optimize your forums.
I even deleted all the themes filesfrom cache folder but it didn't help. Is there any alternative?

(assuming that you are not using cloudflare)
Do you happen to use cloudflare? It usually caches the css.
If yes, purge the cache on their site.
