The impression I get is that the development workflow is getting a lot more community-involved, the migration for most of the development to Github was part of this - makes it easier for anyone to pick up an issue and fix it.
MyBB does not rely on one single member, we're a team and therefore everyone plays a role. Of course some members have more influence than others over certain periods and everytime someone leaves or joins the team, we all have to adapt.
We're finalizing MyBB 1.6.13 and after that you can expect the first Beta release of MyBB 1.8 to come out for all of you to test on your localhost.
I'm closing this thread as it's going in a different direction from the expected.
