Hello there
I just installed a forum on my pc a offline mybb
is it possible to use filezilla to my local host so I can transfer files from my computer to the website
Yes, you just need to know the internal IP of the machine and then use that as your host, the username that the files are located on as the username, etc.
You don't need filezilla to upload images on your localhost. Just navigate to the htdocs directory and cop/paste the files.
You don't need to 'connect' to your own machine, just browse to wherever the files are and upload them as usual.

That's what I just said.
What do you have installed XAMPP server?
yes I have installed XAMPP
I would like to use ftp filezilla for the local host
For what purpose? It's a local system, you already have access to the file system.
I want to be able upload plugins themes etc
XAMPP Control Panel has that option so use it!
