Guys believe it or not but this is the first time I have found out MYBB has this portal function. How to access it and how to use it please?

Portal details are available at the docs section and forumURL/portal.php is the default url of MyBB Portal (eg.)
Portal related settings are available at configuration settings page of admin panel

MyBB's default portal appears like a simple web page - hence some customize it as they like.
few plugins also exist to cater as alternate portal for MyBB (eg. ProPortal, Advanced Portal, Hyper Portal ..)
