Geolocation Authentication is one of my own which I find really useful. There's also Register Time which has become core in MyBB 1.8.

Also, I used to like Page Manager a lot until I realized how easy it is to make forum pages without a plugin

Some of my favorites are:

Form Manager 2 (Nickman)
NewPoints (Pirata)
Custom User Permissions (by matt or noob? :p)
Checkbox Validation (Vernier) // Debates apart, but this one alone made my site spam-free
ModNotice Plus (Prtik)
