I followed the instructions exactly and i'm trying to install mybb on my own abyss web server. I'm running windows 2000 pro service pack 4. And when i go to the ..../forum/install i just get a list of the files in that directory. And i also clicked the index.php and i just got a page full of script.

Can someone help Me?

ok, chances are you computer is not setup with Apache, PHP, mySQL, and phpMyAdmin (the basics for myBB). There was a thread with a link to a help site but I think it was for Windows XP. Search in google for "Installing XXX on Win2k" where XXX is each of the 4 things above.

So mybb wont work with Abyss Web Server?

It may, but note that ANY good forum software requires Apache, PHP, mySQL, and phpMyAdmin. Search Google for how to install that on your server.

Chances are your server is compatible. But you need necessary files/softwares to make it run myBB.

Currently Abyss Web server doesn't have support for PHP. Cjeck this out on the site for Abyss server here:

Also I recommend not to use an all-in-one package, as these tend to not be very userfriendly when you upgrade say Apache or what ever you want to upgrade.
