Yes, 1.8 is close to be released and we won't add that since it's a bigger enhancement (hence no Pushed prefix)... You will have to wait. Maybe it'll get into 1.8.1

I doubt I'll be using 1.8 in that case. Shame really, as it is a bug and releasing things with bugs is never a good thing, but hey ho. If I do use 1.8 I'll have to delete all reasons and make it so people write in the reason instead of select it from a global list of reporting reasons, or remove the reporting ability altogether and use some sort of form script or make people PM to let me know of malicious content.

Edit the reasons to allow only general ones and "other". It is not hard to do.

It's unfortunate to hear that. But we cannot include everything and we cannot have everything fixed. We're volunteers, we do this on our free time. We do our best for this project and we do this for our userbase. I hope to see you using MyBB 1.8 in the future.

What's the status with this?

You can view the status by opening the issue (milestone is set to 1.8.5 and labels show that feedback is still awaited, no code was submitted).

Any update on the status of this? I still haven't seen this option in 1.8.5.
