btw, are the smartphone visitors automatically directed to mobile theme? or they have to visit m.mysite.com ?

Thanks for your encourage.

Actually, mobile end users are redirected to mobile-friendly theme automatically.  Then, what is the m.mysite.com used for?  The answer is there is one function in my module -- end users can switch to desktop theme from their mobile phones if they want.  After this switching, next time these users visit your web site, they will get the desktop theme by default.  If any of these want to switch back to mobile theme, they have to use the m.yoursite.com -- that is the reason m.yoursite.com is necessary.  So, briefly, if you are web administrator, tell your end users: to get desktop theme, input yoursite.com in your web browser address bar; to get mobile-friendly theme, input m.yoursite.com.

Any question, feel free to ask me.
is there any option to disable redirection? I mean, many mybb users here use responsive theme, and it's quite good in smartphone, including me, so is it possible to present m.mysite.com as notifications to smartphone user? not an automated redirection.

My module includes two components, 1. mobile detection and redirection script, and 2. mobile-friendly theme.  So, you mean, you only need the mobile-friendly theme, but do not need the script, right?  If so, I am sorry, we can not separate these two components at this time.  There is some development work to make this.

check your pm, thank you before

so no other people have same problem in register page?
I can repeat this issue in my local development environment.  I am sorry I was not aware this problem because I use desktop Chrome to simulate mobile browser.  I will try to find a solution or work around.  Any progress and/or problem, I will let you know.

Look like we are suffering following issue: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/12020...st-textbox .  I will verify this is our problem and then improve my code according to the answers.  Any progress and/or problem, I will let you know.  Thanks for your patient.

Hi morde,

I am very sorry this problem is beyond my capability, I can not solve it and/or find any work around for it.  I will have to block the registration function in my module.

I will remove the registration related code and submit the package soon.

Sorry again for inconvenience.

Rickey

hmm cant you just make the registration page not using ajax, so just normal page?

it is a lot better than remove the registration function for mobile, and its make this plugin stable version

I agree with you.  While, if I remove any javascript within registration page, the registration function will not work anymore.  My understanding is the javascript/ajax is mandatory.

If my understanding is wrong, if there is anything I can improve, please do let me know, I will try to make a solution and/or workaround on this issue.  Thanks in advanced.

All,

Is it a good idea that I re-write this module based on Accelerated Mobile Pages (AMP): https://www.ampproject.org/ ?

Any comments are welcome.

I am sorry for the inconvenience.  Could you send me your web site URL so I can check?  If you are not comfortable to send URL within this post, you can send me by PM or email.  Right now, I am at a trip, I will reply to you one week later.
