Hello,
when I am trying to post a topic/thread, a download shows up named ''editpost.php'' and it don't saves the edit.
I can post normal threads with only texts, but when I am adding images, URLs or links to images, it's going to download that file.
Every other member (of my forum) has this problem too and I tried it with other internet browsers, but the same problem keeps showing up.
Mybb version: 1.8.
Topic without images and URLs: (works fine)

Topic with images and URLs: (the problem)

I hope you guys can help me out!
Greetings,
René.
Hello!
The content of editpost.php would be interesting. Open it for example with notepad. Does the content start with "< ?php"?

Yes, it does.
But I don't have this problem only with editing, when I am posting a thread too.
Oh, and I tried to replace the ''editpost.php'' and the ''newthread.php'' to a ''editpost.php'' and ''newthread.php'' from MyBB 1.6, but the same problem is showing up.
Oh, and I have this problem with the default theme AND with the theme that I am using. (Intox-Fusion)
EDIT:
I think I found the solution. When I am using http:// (to link to a image or website or something), this stupid problem shows up.
When I am not using http:// I, I can post/edit the thread with no problem.

Is there a way to solve this problem? Because I can't use images in a thread now.
Hello!
For some reason, the webserver thinks, that one specific file is no php-file.
Sadly I don't have time to really investigate the problem more deeply.
Please don't mix 1.8.5 and 1.6!!!

though not related directly to the problem, which version of
MyBB exactly you are using ?
it looks like both the themes (default & intox fusion) are not updated for
MyBB 1.8.x
it would be better to install & use a compatible theme for
MyBB 1.8
