My inline moderation and other javascript functions aren't working on my board since updating to 1.8, any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Is your theme made for 1.8? If not, you are going to have to remove prototype.js from headerinclude and include the default jQuery that is present in 1.8.
AdminCP -> Templates & Style -> Templates -> Your Skin -> Ungrouped Templates -> HeaderInclude
Backup your headerinclude before you try this just in case it doesn't work (most 1.6 themes do no work with 1.8).

I had the exact same issue and found no fix. I ended up just re-writing me entire theme in 1.8

The theme is custom made, it worked fine in 1.6. Your fix unfortunately did not work

It was copied from a wordpress theme to match my website, I'm quite keen to keep it the same however no-one really coded it.
upgrading guidance Wrote:Visit your Admin Control Panel, then go to Templates & Style > Templates > Find Updated Templates.
This will show you a list of all the templates that have changed during the upgrade.
You can either revert these templates to their default - meaning all the changes you've made to it will be removed - or you can see a Diff Report which will show you exactly what's changed. If you have a custom theme installed, it is probably best that you look at the Diff Report and apply the changes you need.

So I've had a look and inline moderation actually isn't working on any of my themes, including the default mybb theme.
Is the default theme updated? Look in the theme headerinclude. If it says prototype js you have a problem.
When you say it isn't working, what exactly is happening?
