I know this is dumb, but I tried renaming a file that I uploaded to logo.gif and deleted the old logo.gif and yet the banner didn't change. What did I do wrong?

No I mean the forum banner.

I think he was asking for the URL to your forum as it would help out. Anyways, there are two things that I can think of:
1) The image is cache in your browser. Refresh the page and see what happens.
2) You uploaded the image to the wrong location.

I tried that. And the URL to my forum is http://slateport.sl.funpic.org/forums You need to copy and paste the URL into your browser because my host doesn't support hot linking.

Upload the file to forums/images/Light/logo.gif

I tried that, but now it just says text instead of a banner being there.

Oh nevermind, somehow I fiddled with it and now it works.

What is this link -> Logout, in the menu ?
