Hello
I recently tried to upgrade my forum to 1.2.8 but everytime I click on:
Quote:Your last MyBB version check was more than two weeks ago
I get this error message:
Quote:Fatal error: Call to undefined function: fetch_remote_file() in /home/amywin00/public_html/admin/index.php on line 221
What do I do? I cannot upgrade until this is fixed.
You haven't uploaded all the latest files - Specifically, atleast, inc/functions.php
but there is no functions.php file in the latest upgrade??
Yes there is?
no there isn't...
i downloaded the 128 changed files and this is them:

admin
archive
images
install
jscripts
editpost.php
forumdisplay.php
member.php
misc.php
moderation.php
portal.php
private.php
search.php
showthread.php
usercp.php

there was no inc/ folder in there meaning no functions.php file!
You must have had a corrupt zip archive. I just downloaded it and it's there.
well then what do i do? how do i get the new upgrade folder? could you send it to me cos i just downloaded it again and it still isnt there!

there is a inc/folder with a fuctions.php the a afew files in the inc folder for the change files

add them files to your ftp then run the /install/upgrade.php

make you you have a database back and a file back up first
