Hey,

I have a working MyBB board, but I have more than one website. My MyBB board was installed by someone else. Whenever I try, the Captcha doesn't show. Also, I've had incidents of post jumping, where a user posts something that goes above the previous users post. How do I prevent this from happening? The Captcha problem has happened many, many times (5+). yet when other people install, it works perfectly. i follow all instructions given. by the way, i heard there is a way to fix without reinstalling. how?

Are you sure this is not a PHP issue where GD/GD2 is not activated/compiled?

You haven't uploaded the "regimages" folder to your images directory.

eh? okay i'll search for that. ty. where would i find it? XD

Download a copy of MyBB and look in the images directory.

i did. it's not there.

Those images aren't used anymore.

In the Admin CP, go to the PHP Info page - see if there is a mention of GD support on that page.

One or more of your forum files have blank lines at the top of the page - they're inserting empty whitespace in to the top of the pages which is breaking the captcha images.
