upgraded from 1.8.11 etc 

i had a spammer drop about 80000 messages on a single forum directory. 
banned him, and used the prune threads and posts.  

when i use that function on a few dozen spam posts, it works fine.  but with 80000 it just sits there, spins, and eventually times out.

any ideas?

80000 are a big amount of data to delete, it requires too many times so the page times out. The only way to do that is to change the code that deletes the data allowing it to delete only 1000 results each seconds.

makes total sense

any idea where that code would be?
