When I click signin on the header for quick login, the box drops and hangs to the bottom, a similar likely connected event happens with smilies get more. This behavior doesn't occur on the default theme. Any ideas on fixing this theme?

I have the same exact issue... its rather frustrating.. its on my default page as well.
I lost my personal login, but at least the standard log in is working now... I don't know....guess the code is outdated.. when I ran a file check there are many pages that are red but it says no problems.

This same issue is occurring across all of my pages at login prompt. I have added the MODAL code to global.css to no avail, the login prompt still appears at the end of the forum.
I then ruled out any customised variations by updated both global.css and newdefault.css with this MODAL code, but still no changes to the popup location.
Can anyone please help me out with this?

I think it just needed to refresh properly as appears to be functioning now. Strange as SHIFT F5 did nothing earlier but clearing ALL temporary files and history did the job. As I said, thank you again..
I had the same issue I followed the login script script for the fix and still on the default page the login persisted to appear on the bottom, I do not advise this but I had a backup and went back to 1.8.12 and because of all the configs I am glad that I did..
The old global.css could still be cached. So even after you have modified the global.css, the older version may still be served or loaded.
To test that theory, perhaps try the following:
* Go to your forum's Admin panel -> 'tools and maintainence' -> 'cache manager'. Click the 'rebuild and reload all' link
* Go to your forum, hold down the SHIFT key and click the browser reload button.
If the above fails, go back to the css editor and make sure the entire modal block is copied over.
I just upgraded from 1.8.12 to 1.8.13 and since the upgrade i been getting the login at the left bottom
^ what is your forum url & which theme you are using ?
have you followed provided suggestions on this thread to fix it ?
