Prevent certain user groups to post messages that includes link?

How can i do that?

what modification does it need?

only compatibility?

Hey you can use this small plugin I done some months ago.
It adds a new permission when you edit a usergroup "Can post links?" under "Extra Posts" tab.

Ofcourse the compatibility to increase. Generally this is enough for small plugins / those don't encounter with 1.8 code changes.
Then you need to check if anything malfunctioning after installing the plugin and troubleshoot accordingly.
