Can confirm the problem with selecting emoji's
Thanks guys, I'll do some further testing and push some PRs today and tomorrow to try and fix up some of these issues.
Smilie select issue confirmed: https://github.com/mybb/mybb/issues/3554 - hopefully patched by https://github.com/mybb/mybb/pull/3555 - this has the possibility of breaking other things though, so will also need quite a lot of testing.

I can also confirm the htaccess.txt file is missing in the pre-release. This will still be in the full release - pre-releases are made using Git tags, but the full package follows our standard build procedure: https://github.com/mybb/mybb-build

Attachment removal issue confirmed: https://github.com/mybb/mybb/issues/3556 - hopefully patched by https://github.com/mybb/mybb/pull/3557
Great job Euan!
wow that's great, i hope if you can support writing php codes in global templates aswell , so it's gonna be perfect Big Grin
With all of those issues being brought up, I kind of wondered if there will be a 2nd MyBB 1.8.20 Pre-Release Build.

Like MyBB 1.8.20 Pre-Release Build v2?? That way testers can distinguish between the 2 different Pre-Release builds for future reference.

Makes sense Smile

Anyway still few bugs remain to fix.
I will be giving this a try.
Thanks for the hard work guys, appreciable as always. Smile
Yes, I will post another pre-release build once the currently reported issues are fixed and the PRs tested and merged.
