Wow....Nice update. Thanks.

Now available to the Community.

Using this 3rd beta, I get this error after all the install steps are done, and I'm clicking the link to Apply Core Edits:


There was an error applying core edits.


I can find no errors in the Apache or MyBB logs.

I deactivated Google SEO with no effect.

Any thoughts on a remedy?

Did you change chmod permissions on inc/functions_user.php and global.php to atlease 664. Try it. This is basic requiremwnt for this plugin to work.

That solved it - thank you!  I didn't see this documented in the install steps.

Much needed plugin, but it's a royal pain to get it working properly on a custom theme

what is the correct to get this plugin uninstalled?
i wanted to take a picture of my forum's private message system before and after installing this plugin
i try deactivating the plugin but get http error 500

Just install and convert PMs from the plugin’s list section. Wait it out if you have a big board with lots of PMs (there’s an ETA and progress status anyway). If you encounter a 500 error you need to check you meet the requirements. Refer to MyBBoost’s release thread for instructions.
