Recently upgraded to 1.8.37. Previously, the Login link at the top launched the authentication modal/popup in the middle of the screen. Now the modal is positioned at the bottom of the page. See screenshot.

I backed out the custom styles I added to global.css, but that didn't change anything. I can probably figure out some styling solution account for the modal positioning, but I wonder if there's a quicker fix for this.

Does Modal Start and Modal End exist in your global.css?  Came across this many years ago, upgrading from 1806 to 1821 or so.  Quite a few posts on this.  Here's one:

Hey, that worked. I had replaced all the modal css in global.css with the code suggested, and it looks/works as expected.

I must have missed that post when I searched for a solution on the board. A lot of folks call modals by different names: interstitials, popups, interrupters, and heaven forbid: floaters.

For anybody coming across this thread, here's the post that mentions the 1813 release notes - and the fix. 

Had a number of such links from taking on an upgrade, when I first joined this board.  But those links are long gone, along with the workstation / browser they were on.
