How would I go about creating a horizontal postbit that is similar to vBulletin's style of doing it? In my opinion, a horizontal postbit should come standard in Gold, as it displays more information in a smaller space, and overall looks much cleaner.
Well, I made a postbit switch mod that has a horizontal postbit. I dont know if it looks like vB's but its still something.

In the future, this mod will have a user option, so they choose what they want, and 3 more postbit styles. Vertical right, horizontal bottom, and tHiN. All planned for the mod when Gold is released.

I'll use that for the time being. Looks pretty good. When Gold is released, though, do you have any plans to re-do it so it looks cleaner (and more like vB's way of doing it?)

I dont know what vB looks like. If you post a screen shot I'll take a look, save it on my comp and do it when Gold is released.
Also I think theres a post some where in either the code modificatiosn forum or the templates forum, for what your requesting.
