Hello, I am in need of a couple of plugins that can do what is described below for my Mybb forum. I don't know a thing about coding and get lost everytime I attempt to learn anything coding related.

I was wondering if someone would be willing to take the time to code me a couple of plugins. I don't have anything to offer other than my thanks and gratitude and appreciation.

The plugins I am in need of:

A plugin to disable the swear filter for certain forums/sections and/or certain usergroups such as admins and moderators.

Another plugin needed is one to hide a forum/section completely from public view until a certain postcount is reached and the member has been registered xx amount of days or months.

I know there is a post to view forums plugin, but it doesn't do what I need. That plugin only prevents access to the threads inside the forum until a certain post count is reached. It does not hide the forum/section completely.

I want an entire section to remain completely hidden as if it is not even there, and then appear to members after a certain amount of posts are made and they have been registered xx amount of days.

I would really appreciate it if someone can take the time to code two plugins that can do what I described.

Thank You, Xtreme2damax.Smile
Bumping this back up since I have not yet received a reply in over 24 hours.
Well the Second one could be done with groups. You could make it so when they reach a certain amount of posts they switch to a new group which can see that forum Wink.

Ok I see, thank you.Smile

If I do it that way will they be auto-assigned the user group once a certain post count is reached or will I have to manually assign them to it myself?

How exactly can I do this? I have no Idea how to do this so they are auto assigned a group with access when a certain amount of posts are reached.
There's a plugin for that [ http://mods.mybboard.net/view/auto-assign-groups ]; i have a userbased badwords filter (user can choose if he/she wants to see badwords in posts); so with a lil' adjustment it can work based on 'usergroups'.

Thanks, I didn't know there are already some plugins available to do these things.

For the badwords, I need it to be able to disable the filter for both certain usergroups and certain forums/sections based on it's fid (Forum ID).

Honestly if I could understand coding I'd be doing this myself, I'm struggling as it is to make template modifications for certain mods/plugins that require it.Toungue
I'm a user of Lex's badword filter plugin and I like it. I gave the option to my clan member to filter/untfilter badwords, while not giving even the option to allow registered users and/or guests the option.
Hey LeX- I saw the modified plugin you mentioned the other day on your forum.

A few days ago I registered on your forum to download the Age Verification Plugin for access to forums/sections.

It seems my registration was either never approved or has been deleted, I was likely registered under Xtreme2damax.

I have registered on your forum again http://www.thingiej.be/mybb and am currently awaiting Admin activation.
I know and your account was active for 2days, but if you don't visit that often ... [ http://www.thingiej.be/mybb/showthread.p...739#pid739 ]

Well I was going to post yesterday until I found my account most likely was deleted. I didn't realize that it was a requirement to post right away, and I didn't have any questions to ask or anything to contribute to any discussions at the time.

Thought there would at least be a grace period of a few days to a week.Toungue

Anyways, I've found it's not good to prune members. Not even ones that have been inactive for years with zero posts since not everyone has something to post or ask right away.

A forum I visit has members with zero posts from four years ago in the members list. Why? Because there is a good chance they will come back later on when an issue arises or they feel like discussing something.

Now I find out my account won't be reactivated, great. Sad
