It just hang for no reason.
Screw vista...pfft I am using Ubuntu with no errors.

For me it was just a PITA on my laptop. To many little issues to list, the main being the networking and GPU driver issues. I'm sure it would be better on a desktop, but the only license I have is Home Premium for the desktop and that's like using XP Home so it's completely unusable for me.
I disable auto-updating... IMO, it's just a bandwidth hog >_>

Excessive RAM usage (even after vLite), annoying as hell security model (it's so difficult to change a few system files >_>), and in the end, I see no advantage over XP.
Oh ya, Vista, also comes preinstalled with craploads of spyware -> more bandwidth hogging.
Oh, and not to mention Windows SXS...
C:\Windows\winsxs = painful.
