I got a question. I got everything uploaded, url is working for install till the database configuration page but then I get a blank page after I press DONE. I tried with IE and firefox on 2 different computers and a mac and still does the same thing.What could be the cause of this???
Which database extension are you trying to use?

I have seen in another thread someone suggesting to install mybb 1.2, i think, and then upgrade to 1.4. where could I find that 1.2 file
nevermind.I just created a new database MYSQL 5 and tried with this one and everything seem to work.I will continue and see what is going to happen.

You are all trying to install right? Can you try editing install/index.php and change
@error_reporting(E_ALL & ~E_NOTICE);
to
error_reporting(E_ALL);
and try it again.
