Hi, I just upgraded to 1.4.1 and there is a problem with thread ratings, no stars appear, just numbers, you will be able to see what I mean on the following pages

http://www.dailytalkforum.com/forumdisplay.php?fid=15

And this thread at the top

hi,

did you deactivate all the plugins you had before you upgraded, or if you had any at all?
Yep deactivated them and deleted them from the plugins folder
Any fix for this, I have cleared cache, run Recount & Rebuild, updated templates, run system health etc
i too am having this problem. The thread rating column is all messed up.

mine can be seen here

Yeah I get the exact same problem.
Either

1) You didn't upload the new jscripts directory properly
2) You didn't update your templates problem
What do you when we didn't update our templates problem? It's coming from the installer.
Good News, Dennis's fix in the following thread works Smile

http://community.mybboard.net/thread-34136.html

The problem as Dennis suggested is that the star_ratings.css is missing

I deleted ALL themes apart from MyBB Master Style, then reinstalled MYBB default theme using the xml file in the resources folder. Then reinstall any other themes using MYBB default (not MyBB Master Style) as the parent theme

However it would be nice to make MyBB Master Style as the parent theme. How do I do this?

I had exact same problem upgrading mybb central from 1.2.14 to 1.4.1.

I updated my template, find updated templates, and even tried to just use the default and delete the old ones. No effect. I had to use the install new theme method. There is a problem and it should be fixed. This is a bug.
Hmm that's strange, I had no problem whatsoever with upgrading my board to Mybb 1.4 and 1.4.1.

I did however deactivate and delete all former plugins in addition to database cleanup, as well as deleting all themes that weren't the vanilla Mybb default, and reverting templates.

I also uploaded all fresh files after deleting the old ones while keeping the config.php and settings.php files in tact in the /forum/inc directory.

I'm not sure what could of went wrong with your upgrade.Confused
