My Mybb Forum got delted by mistake i have the backup downloaded i downloaded it just before i delteded it. I was just wondering how do i backup my files to my new mybb forum ?
You mean the files in your FTP??
If you compress the folder all your files are in, you can download that and then upload that zip wherever you make your new forum.
And what do you mean by deleting it??
well it was delted but i have my backup. so can i get all my files back ?
Well if you deleted your files, they're gone.
You'll have to start again I'm afraid. How did you manage to delete them??

The backup you do in your ACP is your users, posts, forums etc.
Did you have any plugins, themes, attachments, or uploaded avatars??
i dunno what happened but all the pictures are still there but the users, forum cats, plugins etc are all gone

Right, I see, I know what you've done. You've done the upgrade by installing a new board from scratch. This overwrote the tables in your database. Luckily you made the backup - with PHPMyAdmin or some other database manager, upload your backup, and then run the upgrader.
Were your forums always at /Uploads/ though??
