When I receive a new PM and the popup says "to view, press OK or cancel..." I press OK and it stays on the index page and does nothing.
It's not a bug. It does not work with an enabled popup blocker.
the popup does work in IE because of pop up blocker.
just enable popup for your mybb
firefox do have options for enabling popup for specific sites.

Just noticed that, but why does vBulletin work without allowing it through my popup blocker?
Theoretically it shouldn't, unless there is something we're doing wrong when creating or identifying the new window - i'll take a look at it.

I think he meant it shouldn't be blocked with popup blockers.
