In the first 4 forums where it shows "newest post" it is really wide.
I don't know how to fix this problem.

Because there's text in one but not the categories below.

On a side not, it's recommended not to have your forums in the 'Upload' folder.

Well I didn't want it that way but I couldn't move it without it not working I wanted to change the name to forums.


I added a topic to another forum and it didn't do that wide thing.

If you move it, you'll have to change the board URL and cookie settings to match and you'll be fine You could have it as http://contestthat.com/index.php or http://contestthat.com/forums/index.php for example.

Well I don't know what I would change the cookie files and all that
to. It's only me working on this site and I am learning as I go along.
And still have a lot of learning.

I still cannot figure out why that one part is wide.

I want it to be http://contestthat.com/forums/
because my website is contestthat so I wouldn't want the forums
to be the front page. But I try to move it to forums, and change the
boards url and all that but I didn't know about the cookie thing and when I try to move it it doesn't work and gives me error messages.

There's your answer... basically, that one "lastpost" is filling up that column, so it's fully wide.

You can always use css and theme editing to limit the width of this column, and even use MyBB's trimming functions to trim the subject of the thread to fit it into the smaller column...

Ok, in your ACP, go to Configuration > General Configuration > change your board URL to http://contestthat.com/forums your cookie domain to .contestthat.com and your cookie path to /forums/

Then save it, and you'll get errors. Then, move all your files to a new folder called /forums/ and it should sort itself out.

And as I said before, the box is wider as the text '[Game] Guess my Number (N...' is stretching out the column.

I don't see how that's it. I added a topic to other forums and no
other ones are wide, except for the top 4.

Which one would i have to edit to change the width? I don't know the
pages so well. As I have only had these forums for 2 days.

Yes, because the other topic aren't long enough to stretch it out. Post a really long topic title in another forum and it'll stretch it out.

Thank you I understand now. I wasn't understanding
I didn't think the title of it was too long. But how would I change it
so that members don't make long names so the coloumns don't get too wide again?
