Just re-read a post and saw you said you only had ACP access, my bad 
In my honest opinion, you should really find a way to get access, otherwise running a forum will be very hard for you. Talking from experience here... when I started I didn't have FTP access and it was awful, had to wait for someone else to do things and I couldn't learn anything. Shortly after getting FTP access I figured it out, and now, I can fix problems in a few minutes, rather than having to wait literally days for something that could take 2 minutes if you had the access.
