i have installed mybb 1.4.4 and after install it on server i enter in admin lik site

enter the username and pass of admin and i cant change any option for example GMT zone(is default gmt+10) i want to change to Gmt only and click save sattings and it goes aain to gmt+10, so it dont change my changes, my question is why?i hav readed he sticky post and nothing
i dont know whats happening could you please help me via msn and i gave you all the needed details and you do the changes that is need to do in order to solve this problem ( the email i registered here is the same on msn so plase add me )

Make sure ./inc/settings.php is CHMOD to 666.

I'm not quite sure what you're saying now. I haven't even seen a link to your site yet so can't tell you if the problem is because your cookie settings are incorrect or not.
Are you even having login/logout issues? Or is it a case where you're logged in, it's just the settings aren't being saved?
i cant login and can save settings . to change chmod is on ftpserver soft on atributes change to 666 instead of 750 ?

im just doing the instalation ritgh ow and requisites are OK and directories are writable, shoud i use mysql, mysql improved or sqlite2 on db engine?
