Hi guys, i moved our board and db to a new server.
Everything is working except for the board colors files not showing up.



Can to tell me why? Maybe a permissions thing?
If so, what will fix this and what else should i check permissions on?

I have not moved the name servers yet to the new host.. not sure if that matters?

Edit your url in the configurations. You might of changed the directory of your theme which is usually the problem. Or follow what MattR said below.

CHMOD ./cache/ and ./cache/themes/ to 757, then 775, then 777 - go in that order and check if it works after each time. That goes from most secure to least secure.

Either that or it's a URL misconfiguration as rcpalace said - if you haven't changed the name servers, the URL may not work properly which may be causing the problem.

Thanks Rcpalace, but i can not get to my acp configurations.
I am using a temp address till the name servers are changed.

When i try to click on anything.. i always have to add http://MY-SERVER-IP-HERE/~p5d1h4z8/ in front of everything.

When i go to the acp only clicking around here works and allows me access is i add http://MY-SERVER-IP-HERE/~p5d1h4z8/ in front of everything.


Clicking around here does not work no matter what i do


All i get it this

Even adding http://MY-SERVER-IP-HERE/~p5d1h4z8/ in front of it does not help.

Any ideas?

Personally I'd wait until the URL is sorted because you'll have to make other changes to sort that out too.

CMOD did not help.

My settings were *are

cash/ 777
themes/ 755

Well the themes one isn't either of the 3 I said to try...

i know matt, i ment cash/themes

I can not find it.

I know you mean that, but 755 isn't one of the 3 settings I said to try, that's what I meant. Once you change ./cache/themes/ to one of the 3 settings I mentioned, and it still doesn't work, check your board URL. You'll need the temp one you have for it to work.

It's in ACP > Tools & Maintenance > View PHP Info.

Even adding the temp url, it will not let me click on and view the "View PHP Info"

I tried the /cache/themes/ still no change bro
