Thats only because of the exchange rate. It would cost you about the same to get something from the United States, if not more.

Yeah... not only will you get charged extra for exchange currencies, some sort of tariff may be charged for import/export.

But the exchange rates are about 1 USD = 1.5 NZD = 1.4 AUD.

But still, America is pretty cheap compared to NZ. By a couple of hundred $$$'s atleast.

It all depends, I guess. Chris got an iPod for a far better price than I could find in the United States.
